Overland tour in Tibet offers an insight into the historical and cultural wonders of ancient Tibet.

Heinrich Harrer gave the first encounter of Tibet in his auto-bio "Seven Years in Tibet." Centuries of isolation and the lifestyle of inhabitants dating back milleniums makes it a most "desired place to be" in the bucketlist of travelers.

This tour is designed for a group. We would have tourist from different countries thus peoples take this tour as an opportunity to meet and interact with the peoples of the country where they have never been. From single to a couple, anyone can join this tour. Starting from Kathmandu and conceding at Lhasa, this overland tour passes over the Tibetan Himalayas through Arniko Highway -Friendship Bridge that connects Nepal with Tibet, China.

You can enjoy the fabulous mountain sceneries en route, visit mystical Buddhist monasteries of Tashilhunpo at Shigatse, the Kumbum Stupa at Gyantse, and drive past the beautiful Yamdrok Tso Lake (Turquoise Lake). In Lhasa, once can visit the famous Potala Palace and Norbulinka, the great Drepung Monastery, Sera monastery and walk through the bustling Barkor Bazaar.

The sightings of Mt. Everest (8848m/29,028ft) and Makalu (8,481m/27,825ft) seen from the Lalung La pass (5,082m/16,670ft) are the highlights of the trek.

Mount Kailash, considered Holy by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains alike, is located in the western most region of Tibet. Every year, thousands of devotees make a pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar. Predominantely believed by Hindus, the Hindu God Shiva resides at the summit of the mountain.
