Paragliding is a weather dependent sport so the flying season in Nepal commences at the best weather and visibility time, from September to February, the best months are Oct and Nov & Dec. This most safe and famous place for this gliding is in Nepal is the Pokhara valley & Sarangkot hill. Gliding takes off from Sarangkot height of ( 1592m/5,220ft) which offer you the most stunning views of Fewa lake and mountains at sunrise and sunset (provided the skies are clear) and the landing is by the Fewa lake. Observing glory of Annapurna range and beautiful landscape around Pokhara valley, virgin Mt; Fishtail (Machhapuchhre), Lamjung Himal, Annapaurna Himal, Himchuli, Fewa Lake, Rice field, Rivers and settlements are below gives you thrills with a great photographic opportunity. Fly once this gliding makes your dream come true.
It do not required any previous experience as qualified pilots provide a short but detail briefing before the gliding so nothing to be worried. This will get you the memories to last a lifetime of 30 to 45 minute flight. Those who want to find out what paragliding is all about but cannot commit two days of instruction; we offer them tandem flights as well. During the flight pilot will explain what he/she is doing and allow you some hands-on control of the glider.
