Day 1:

Arrival day in Kathmandu
Altitude: 1400m

After your Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you and then escort you to your hotel. Our tour operator will explain briefly about the Introductory Tour of Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival time in Kathmandu, you may explore "Thamel".

In the evening we host welcome dinner at one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with local music and ethnic dance. O/N Kathmandu.

Day 2:

Sightseeimg tour of  Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square

After the breakfast, we will go for the cultural sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Our cultural tour begins in the morning with the short drive to  Pashupatinath Temple. The largest and the most important Hindu Shrine in Nepal. Explore around the Hindu devotion and if you are lucky you get to see the cremating procedure of Hindus in Aryaghat at Pashupatinath.

Then our first day of Kathmandu Introductory Tour heads off towards the largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal- the Boudhanath. Maroon robed monks and devotees circumambulating this gaint domed shaped stupa and the bustling streets catering Tibetan culture at its best is great cultural exploration at Boudhanath. The last important landmark, we explore today is Kathmandu Dirbar Square.  Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of three Durbar (Royal palaces) squares in the Kathmandu Valley. At the Southern end of Durbar Square there is a place of one of the most curious attractions in Nepal i.e.  Kumari Chowk. This gilded cage contains the Kumari-- a young girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess Durga. She is worshipped during religious festivals and makes public appearances at other times for a fee paid to her guards. The clusters of ancient temples and edifices and wide open courtyard paved with stones makes Kathmandu Durbar Square a great destination to explore. 

After having the day sightseeing tour of all these UNESCO Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, we walk back to our hotel through the cobble mazed streets of Kathmandu's old town Asan.

Day 3:

Drive to Sundarijal and hike to Chisopani 2-3 hrs trek
Altitude: At Sundarijal 1450m & Chisopani 2140m

A drive for couple of hours towards northeast of the city brings us to Sundarijal. From here our soft trekking adventure around Kathmandu  begins. The uphill walk on stony steps leads you to entrance gate of Shivapuri National Park. We finish the short registration formalities then continue to walk towards the dam of Sundarijal, from where water is supplied to Kathmandu through the pipeline. The trail continues to Mulkharka through stony steps and beautiful mud houses and tearrced farmlands. After that the trail leads you to the top of the mountain at Deurali through the forest of Rhododendron. You can enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery from the ridge that includes Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa and many more. Then the trail drops down to Chisapani. O/N Chisapani.

Day 4:

Hike to Nagarkot 3-4 hrs trek
Altitude: 2175m/7135ft

After sunrise view and breakfast at the lodge, your day starts walking through an unpaved road towards Jhule village. The village sets an example of mixed culture. On the way you will have great views of Himalaya and forest including Kathmandu valley while walking on the ridgeline of the hill. It is an easy day trekking with interesting landscape, diverse cultural village and beautiful terraced farmlands. At the end of the day, a short push uphill brings us to Nagarkot which is situated on the top of the hill, catering the Himalayan panorama of 360 degree. O/N Nagarkot.

Day 5:

Hike to Changu Narayan and Drive to Kathmandu 2-3 hrs trek
Altitude: 1400m

Your guide will give a wakeup call before the dawn. Then we hike for ten minutes and get to the top of Nagarkot. From the top we witness the most beautiful sunrise view as well as  magnificent views of snowcapped peaks in all directions. You can enjoy the views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Gaurishankar, Dorje lakpa, Mt. Everest and many more. After the breakfast, your trail leads you downhill through the ridge towards Changu Narayan. You pass through interesting villages and closely look into their authentic culture.  Finally you will reach at Changu narayan temple which is the oldest temple of Kathmandu valley built in 5th century AD. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 After exploring the temple, drive to Bhaktapur (city of Devotees) to explore around, Bhaktapur is a popular day-trip destination for the tourists.Bhaktapur main square, Durbar square, palace with the 55- windows constructed by King jitamitra Malla are the main attractions of the area. The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The main attraction of Bhaktapur are three squares like Durbar square, Taumadhi square, and Dattatreya square and visitors can also get the Devine miraculous vision of the largest Shiva lingum, Golden Spout and Gate, Magnificent peacock windows and so on. After the exploration, we drive back to Kathmandu. O/N Kathmandu.

Day 6:

Kathmandu sightseeing tour Patan and Bungmati
Altitude: 1400m

Today after the breakfast we move towards the Patan aka Lalitpur. Patan is a beautiful city in the valley separated from Kathmandu  by  Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Patan Durbar Square having substantial  architectural ancient masterpieces- is considered the best Durbar Square of the Valley.Krishna Mandir, theb 17th century Temple is one of the grandeurs of the square and is Kathmandu's best stone wrought monument. Also the square is unrestrainedly decorated by the Bhimsen Temple, Manga Hiti, Vishwanath Temple, Jagannarayan Temple, Golden Temple and numerous. Take the pleasure of discovering this Patan Durbar Square which has been entitled in the World Heritage Site. 

 

After exploring Patan Durbar Square, we move towards Bungmati . Bungmati is a small town located at 10 km south from heart of Kathmandu. Bungmati is famous for its hundreds of master wood carvers and sculptures. Seasonal home to Rato Machhindranath, Bungmati is wonderful hub for authentic cultural encounter.  After exploring Bungmati  we drive back to our hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 7:

Departure day

Free day for shopping and Deparuture

Free morning, after breakfast, if you having enough time, you may explore mian down town of Kathmandu- Thamel, shopping paradise. Ontime transfer to airport and our trip ends here.

Passport & Visa Information

Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US cash & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.
 

Nationals of SAARC countries and China do not need visa when visiting Nepal. As per this rule, Indian nationals do not require visa. 
 

Transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain Nepalese visa from the following border:

In our trip, the minimum group size would be two and maximum group size is twenty or more on request. We can also organize private trip to solo person with single supplement cost. Else, join our estimated group departure dates available online or ask us with your personal dates, we will open group date on the same date.

despite the fact that you are with Advanced Adventures P. Ltd, it is very essential that you are accompanied with very experienced and qualified tour guide for the safety and successful of the trip. Our guides are trained and licensed from Nepal Government and fluent in any language as per your need. Our guides are especially for the tour so that they have very good knowledge about the historical places with its entire history and many more. We assure you that your trip is at the right and professional hands.

Meals, Accommodation and Transportation:

While in Kathmandu and any other tour ,our accommodation is at tourist standard hotels / trip adviser recommended hotel ( Attached Bath, A/C, 24 hours running hot/cold shower). Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200.

In city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in Safari tour (Either in Chitwan National park or Bardia National park) full board of meals are included (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner with Tea and Coffee).  We will offer fresh and hygienic food so that you do not have to worry.

During the trip, you will be using deluxe private transport / coach as per number of person on tour.

Tour Seasons:

We do have two different best seasons for the mentioned tour which are the best season as we call here in Nepal but we run the tour trip throughout the year.

Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time of the year, best visibility, good Temperature.
 

Autumn:- (Mid September, October and November) -  Excellent weather, crystal clear blue skies, best visibility.
 

Winter Months: - (December, January and February) - Winter also well, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this accordingly.
 

Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid June, July and August). We can still run the trip but not the best to be honest.
 

Vaccination:

Vaccination is required to plan to your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information of vaccination you would require to the country you will be travelling. 

Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for travel Nepal.
