Outline Itinerary
| Day 1: |
Arrival day After your arrival at Kathmandu; we will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the traveller’s recommended hotel, Hotel Blue horizon or similar standard hotel. Later we meet and take you to our head office, brief you about your upcoming trip. Evening, we host welcome dinner at one of the finest local restaurant with music and ethnic dance. Stay overnight at Kathmandu. |
| Day 2: |
Kathmandu Valley sightseeing
After breakfast depart for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the “City of Temples” to Visit Durbar Square (place of Palace) with the Kasthamandap temple (Name of Kathmandu is derived of Kasthamandap), Kumari Ghar (Home of Living Goddess), Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka and Taleju Temple. Afterwards, we will take you to visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, which is majestically set high on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. After that, we will drive towards Pashupatinath is the most important Hindu temple in Nepal. Pashupati is considered as the main shrine to the devotees not only of Nepal but to the Hindus people around the world. Pashupatinath, an ancient plinth, by the banks of the holy Bagmati River, stands the 16th century of Pashupatinath - Shiva, as Lord of all Creatures. Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the main temple. They can have good view of the temple complex from Slesmantak forest-- a forest across Bagmati River. After exploring the Pashupatinath temple, we move towards our next destination that is Bouddhanath Temple, it is located at 5km east from the center of Kathmandu. Bouddhanathis one of the largest Stupas in South Asia and it has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. It is considered to be one of the most important Tibetan Buddhism monuments outside Tibet. There are 30 gompas in the premises of Bouddhanath. There is a brick wall that goes around the Stupa with 147 niches, along with the prayer wheel that have got the mantra (chant) of om mani padme hum. O/N Kathmandu. |
| Day 3: |
Drive to Sundarijal and hike to Chisopani A short drive towards northeast of the city and your hiking route begins from Sundarijal (literally means beautiful water). The stone steps leads you to entrance gate of Shivapuri National Park, short registration formalities then continue walk towards the dam of Sundarijal which is the water supply for Kathmandu valley through the huge pipe. The trail leads to Mulkharka through stone steps and beautiful mud houses and farm terraces. After that the trail leads you to the top of the mountain at Deurali through the forest of Rhododendron. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the ridge including Annapurna, Manaslu, langtang, Dorje lakpa and may more. Then the trail drops down to Chisopani. O/N chisopani. |
| Day 4: |
Hike to Nagarkot After sunrise view and breakfast at the lodge, your day starts walking through an unpaved road towards Jhule village which is an example of mix cultural village. On the way you will have great views of Himalaya and forest including Kathmandu valley view from the ridge. It is an easy day and interesting landscape with different cultural village and beautiful farm terrace. At the end a short climbing to Nagarkot which is situated on the top of the hill, having great Himalayan range of 360 degree angle. O/N Nagarkot. |
| Day 5: |
Hike to Changu Narayan and Drive to Kathmandu
Your guide will give a wakeup call as per sunrise time for great sunrise view and magnificent views of Snowpeaked Mountain from east to west. You can enjoy the views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, langtang Himal, Gaurishankar, Dorje lakpa, Mt. Everest and many more. After breakfast your trail leads you downhill through the ridge towards Changu Narayan. There are interesting village pass through where you will explore their life from very close as you pass their courtyard. Finally you will reach at Changu narayan temple which is the oldest temple of Kathmandu valley built in 5th century AD. |

Kathmandu sightseeing
Today after breakfast, we move towards the patan, Lalitpur is the city of beauty is separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces.
Krishna Mandir which is one of the grandeur of the square was built in 1637 by the king Siddhinarsingh Malla. The square has been unrestrainedly adorned by the Bhimsen Temple, Manga Hiti, Vishwanath Temple, Jagannarayan Temple, Golden Temple and numerous. Take the pleasure of discovering this Patan Durbar Square which has been entitled in the World Heritage Site. Krishna Mandir is Kathmandu's finest stone wrought monument. After exploring Krishna Mandir, we move towards Bungmati and khokana town. Bungmati is a small town located at 10 km south from heart of Kathmandu. Bungmati is famous for its hundreds of master wood carver and sculpture producers. From Khokana, Bungmati is 15 minutes walk. In these village visitors can see typical Newari houses. The best time to visit Bungmati and Khokana is in October and November because at that time the whole village looks beautiful and that view visitors enjoy must. O/N Kathmandu. |

Departure day After breakfast in to your hotel, we will drop you at the airport to take your onward flight as per time. If you have late flight, you will have time to do last minute shopping if you deserve. |

Passport & Visa Information
Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US cash & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.
Nationals of SAARC countries and China do not need visa when visiting Nepal. As per this rule, Indian nationals do not require visa.
Transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain Nepalese visa from the following border:
• Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
• Kakarvitta, Jhapa (Eastern Nepal)
• Birganj, Parsa (Central Nepal)
• Kodari, Sindhupalchowk (Northern Border)
• Belhiya, Bhairahawa (Rupandehi, Western Nepal)
• Jamuna, Nepalgunj (Banke, Mid Western Nepal)
• Mohana, Dhangadhi (Kailali, Far Western Nepal)
• Gaddachauki, Mahendranagar (Kanchanpur, Far Western Nepal)

Group Size:
In our trip, the minimum group size would be two and maximum group size is twenty or more on request. We can also organize private trip to solo person with single supplement cost. Else, join our estimated group departure dates available online or ask us with your personal dates, we will open group date on the same date.
Our Guides, trip and safety
despite the fact that you are with Advanced Adventures P. Ltd, it is very essential that you are accompanied with very experienced and qualified tour guide for the safety and successful of the trip. Our guides are trained and licensed from Nepal Government and fluent in any language as per your need. Our guides are especially for the tour so that they have very good knowledge about the historical places with its entire history and many more. We assure you that your trip is at the right and professional hands.
Meals, Accommodation and Transportation:
While in Kathmandu and any other tour ,our accommodation is at tourist standard hotels / trip adviser recommended hotel ( Attached Bath, A/C, 24 hours running hot/cold shower). Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200.
In city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in Safari tour (Either in Chitwan National park or Bardia National park) full board of meals are included (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner with Tea and Coffee). We will offer fresh and hygienic food so that you do not have to worry.
During the trip, you will be using deluxe private transport / coach as per number of person on tour.
(Upgrade hotel to 4 stars or 5 stars is possible in Kathmandu, please write us if you interested)
Tour Seasons:
We do have two different best seasons for the mentioned tour which are the best season as we call here in Nepal but we run the tour trip throughout the year.
Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time of the year, best visibility, good Temperature.
Autumn:- (Mid September, October and November) - Excellent weather, crystal clear blue skies, best visibility.
Winter Months: - (December, January and February) - Winter also well, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this accordingly.
Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid June, July and August). We can still run the trip but not the best to be honest.
Vaccination:
Vaccination is required to plan to your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information of vaccination you would require to the country you will be travelling.
Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for travel Nepal.
