Day 01:

Arrival day in Kathmandu
Altitude: 1350m/4428ft


After your Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you and then escort you to your hotel. Our tour operator will explain briefly about the Introductory Tour of Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival time in Kathmandu, you may explore "Thamel".

In the evening we host welcome dinner at one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with local music and ethnic dance. O/N Kathmandu.

Day 02:

Sightseeimg tour of Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square

Altitude: 1350m/4428ft

After the breakfast, we will go for the cultural sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Our cultural tour begins in the morning with the short drive to the Swayambhunath.  Also known as "the Monkey Temple" for being ideal home to hundreds of monkeys, Swayambhunath is a stupa is a hilltop Buddhist Stupa that overlooks Kathmandu with its watchful eyes. Plenty of Tibetan Buddhist culture can be observed here. Then we drive to Pashupatinath Temple. The largest and the most important Hindu Shrine in Nepal. Explore around the Hindu devotion and if you are lucky you get to see the cremating procedure of Hindus in Aryaghat at Pashupatinath.

Then our first day of Kathmandu Introductory Tour heads off towards the largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal- the Boudhanath. Maroon robed monks and devotees circumambulating this gaint domed shaped stupa and the bustling streets catering Tibetan culture at its best is great cultural exploration at Boudhanath. The last important landmark, we explore today is Kathmandu Dirbar Square.  Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of three Durbar (Royal palaces) squares in the Kathmandu Valley. At the Southern end of Durbar Square there is a place of one of the most curious attractions in Nepal i.e.  Kumari Chowk. This gilded cage contains the Kumari-- a young girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess Durga. She is worshipped during religious festivals and makes public appearances at other times for a fee paid to her guards. The clusters of ancient temples and edifices and wide open courtyard paved with stones makes Kathmandu Durbar Square a great destination to explore. 

After having the day sightseeing tour of all these UNESCO Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, we walk back to our hotel through the cobble mazed streets of Kathmandu's old town Asan.



Day 03:

Cultural Sightseeing Tour of  Patan Durbar Square, Bungmati, Khokana & Bhaktapur Durbar Square; Evening drive to Nagarkot
Altitude: 2195m

Today after the breakfast we move towards the Patan aka Lalitpur. Patan is a beautiful city in the valley separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Patan Durbar Square having substantial  architectural ancient masterpieces- is considered the best Durbar Square of the Valley.Krishna Mandir, theb 17th century Temple is one of the grandeurs of the square and is Kathmandu's bets stone wrought monument. Also the square is unrestrainedly decorated by the Bhimsen Temple, Manga Hiti, Vishwanath Temple, Jagannarayan Temple, Golden Temple and numerous. Take the pleasure of discovering this Patan Durbar Square which has been entitled in the World Heritage Site. 


After exploring Patan Durbar Square, we move towards Bungmati and Khokana town. Bungmati is a small town located at 10 km south from heart of Kathmandu. Bungmati is famous for its hundreds of master wood carvers and sculptures. Seasonal home to Rato Machhindranath, Bungmati is wonderful hub for authentic cultural encounter. Fifteen minutes walk from Bungmati lies another traditional village of farmers, Khokana- equally enchanting and equally authentic. After exploring Bungmati and Khokana we drive to city of Bhakatapur.

Bhaktapur is a popular day-trip destination for the tourists.Bhaktapur main square, Durbar square, palace with the 55- windows constructed by King jitamitra Malla are the main attraction of the area. The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal.

After exploring the city of Bhaktapur we drive to Nagarkot.  Nagarkot is located at 22 kilometers east of Kathmandu, which is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district. It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati river valley to the east. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Valley and known as a place of beauty. However, the most important travelers throng to this small hill station is the scenic sunrise view and wide spread Himalayas glittering with it. O/N Nagarkot.

Day 04:

Sunrise view from Nagarkot and drive to Panauti, explore Namo Buddha and drive back to Dhulikhel


Today in the morning time,visitors can have the spectacular sunrise view of the Himalayan of eastern Nepal.Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.After breakfast we depart from Nagarkot and drive to Panauti. 

Panauti is a small Newari town located 32 km southeast of Kathmandu. Panauti that consists of variety of Buddhist and Hindu monuments is one of the most important places for  observing medieval era landmarls. Visitors often find colorful stones, petals and other items that are laid out on the pavement to welcome everyone with great hospitality. After exploring Panuti we move towards Namo Buddha.

Namo Buddha is a very sacred place for the Buddhists. There are couple of monasteries and one ancient stupa erected nearby in which a person can make offerings, pray and light butter lamps. This sight of Namo Buddha gives beautiful views of the local villages and lush scenery to the visitors. After sightseeing tour around Namo Buddha drive back from Namo Buddha to Dhulikhel.

Dhulikhel is a Tourist paradise. Popular destination to see the floating mountains, Dulikhel is peaceful destination for the overnight stay.  

Day 05:

Drive to kritipur, Explore Chovar and Daksinkali Temple
Altitude: 1730m/5675ft
Place we visit: Kirtipur, Chovar and Daksinkali Temple

After having breakfast we will Drive to Kirtipur. Originally Kirtipur is a centre of Newari culture and Newari foundation. It consists of many temples, Gumbas and Churches too. Old town inside Kathmandu Valley Kirtipur probably holds the ancient values in the strongest possible way.

We move towards visiting Daksinkali. Daksinkali is the most important venue of animal sacrifices to the goddess Kali and Danksinkali temple is located at the foothills of south of the valley. En-route we will also visit Pharping Monastery, Chovar Gorge & Toudaha. After exploring we drive back to Kathmandu. O/N  Kathmandu.

Day 06:

Departure day from Kathmandu
Altitude: 1350m/4428ft
Free day for shopping and Deparuture


Free morning, after breakfast, if you having enough time, you may explore mian down town of Kathmandu- Thamel, shopping paradise. Ontime transfer to airport and our trip ends here.

Nepal and Nepali people
Nepal has modern banking facilities and some international banks even have offices in Kathmandu. Almost all foreign currencies along with credit cards such as American Express, Visa, and Master card are accepted in Nepal.

Nepali believes that “guests are God” so no need to worry about the safety matter. Although you will be careful about it and always consult your guide. However, you are under our care on any trips you would be joining us so do not have to worry.

Passport & Visa Information
Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US cash & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.

Nationals of SAARC countries and China do not need visa when visiting Nepal. As per this rule, Indian nationals do not require visa.

Transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain Nepalese visa from the following border.

Group Size
In our trip, the minimum group size would be two and maximum group size is twenty or more on request. We can also organize private trip to solo person with single supplement cost. Else, join our estimated group departure dates available online or ask us with your personal dates, we will open group date on the same date.

Our Guides, trip and safety
Despite the fact that you are with Advanced Adventures P. Ltd, it is very essential that you are accompanied with very experienced and qualified tour guide for the safety and successful of the trip. Our guides are trained and licensed from Nepal Government and fluent in any language as per your need. Our guides are especially for the tour so that they have very good knowledge about the historical places with its entire history and many more. We assure you that your trip is at the right and professional hands.

Meals, Accommodation and Transportation
While in Kathmandu and any other tour, we use 3 star standard or similar categories hotel on our trips. They are will all the modern facilities, rooms are with attached bath, 24 hours hot/cold water running, back up light if case of no electricity as it is usual at dry season, free WI-FI and internet access.. Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200.

In city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in Safari tour (Either in Chitwan National park or Bardia National park) full board of meals are included (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner with Tea and Coffee). We will offer fresh and hygienic food so that you do not have to worry.

On our every tour, we use deluxe private transport so it is very comfort and convenient as per the tourist requirements. And depending on the group size, car (3 seated), Toyota Van (6 seated and 12 seated), Coaster Bus (22 seated) would be used. Depending on the tour you choose, you might have to use tourist bus for long distance drive which is comfortable and the best tourist vehicles available in Nepal.

Tour Best Seasons
We do have two different best seasons for the mentioned tour which are the best season as we call here in Nepal but we run the tour trip throughout the year.

Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time of the year, best visibility, good Temperature.

Autumn:- (Mid September, October and November) - Excellent weather, crystal clear blue skies, best visibility.

Winter Months: - (December, January and February) - Winter also well, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this accordingly.

Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid June, July and August). We can still run the trip but not the best to be honest.

Travel Insurance and Vaccination
Travel insurance is compulsory. You are required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance before travelling with us. Please make sure that you know exactly what you are covered for. Make sure that your travel insurance covers trip cancellation insurance, general medical expenses, and hospitalizations.

Vaccination is required to plan to your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information of vaccination you would require to the country you will be travelling. Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for travel Nepal.
