Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and is also a political, commercial and cultural hub of the country. Kathmandu Valley (1300m) is surrounded by beautiful Green hills. It is also taken as an open museum as it has preserved various traditional cultures, sculptures including old Royal palaces. As it is also known as city of temples obviously there are many temples in this valley. It is considered as a beautiful valley of this Himalayan country Nepal and loved by those who appreciate the nature at its best and interested in diverse cultures and traditional art and sculpture. Tourism of this place is attributed mainly to the cultural heritage besides natural beauty.

The Kathmandu city stands at elevation of approximately 1,400 meters in the bowl-shaped valley situated in central Nepal surrounded by four major mountains such as shivapuri, phulchowki, Nagaarjun and Chandragiri. Kathmandu is gateway to Nepal tourism.

The Tour of Kathmandu Valley might be one of the memorable tours as the tourists can have a full picturesque view of the Kathmandu. The Kathmandu city attracts the tourists especially from the Asian countries via its' cultural heritages as it is listed in the world heritage site. Ancient temples including Pashupatinath-- one of the biggest shrine of Hindu People--, famous Stupas of Buddhist religious--Sowambhunath, Boudhanath--, colorful bazaars, museums and traditional sculptures are the main attractions of the valley. Day 01:

Arrival day in Kathmandu

After your Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you and then you will be taken to your hotel. Our tour operator will explain briefly about the program. Depending on your arrival time in Kathmandu, you may explore "Thamel".

In the evening we host welcome dinner at one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with local music and ethnic dance. O/N Kathmandu.


Day 02:

Visit Kathmandu valley,swayambhunath, Pashupatinath and Bouddha

After having breakfast we will go for the exploration of Kathmandu valley and our journey starts from the exploration of Kathmandu’s DurbarSquare, whichis one of three Durbar (Royal palaces) squares in the Kathmandu Valley. At the Southern end of Durbar Square there is a place of one of the most curious attractions in Nepal i.e.  Kumari Chowk. This gilded cage contains the Kumari-- a young girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess Durga. She is worshipped during religious festivals and makes public appearances at other times for a fee paid to her guards. 


We will visit to swayambhunath temple; this temple is lovingly called the 'monkey temple', for the innumerable monkeys that have made the temple their permanent residence. Swayambhunath is a stupa based on top of hill, from where we can generally view the scenery of Kathmandu Valley. 
 

Today after breakfast, we will drive towards Pashupatinath is the most important Hindu temple in Nepal. Pashupati is considered as the main shrine to the devotees not only of Nepal but to the Hindus people around the world. Pashupatinath, an ancient plinth, by the banks of the holy Bagmati River, stands the 16th century of Pashupatinath - Shiva, as Lord of all Creatures.  Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the main temple. They can have good view of the temple complex from Slesmantak forest-- a forest across Bagmati River.
 

After exploring the Pashupatinath temple, we move towards our next destination that is Bouddhanath Temple, it is located at 5km east from the center of Kathmandu. Bouddhanath is one of the largest Stupas in South Asia and it has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. O/N Kathmandu.


Day 03:

Explore patan, Bhaktapur City and Drive to Nagarkot

Today after breakfast we move towards the patan, Lalitpur is the city of beauty is separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces.Krishna Mandir is one of the grandeur of the square was built in 1637 by the king Siddhinarsingh Malla. The square has been unrestrainedly adorned by the Bhimsen Temple, Manga Hiti, Vishwanath Temple, Jagannarayan Temple, Golden Temple and numerous. Take the pleasure of discovering this Patan Durbar Square which has been entitled in the World Heritage Site. Krishna Mandir is Kathmandu's finest stone wrought monument. 
 

After exploring Krishna Mandir, we move towards Bungmati and khokana town. Bungmati is a small town located at 10 km south from heart of Kathmandu. Bungmati is famous for its hundreds of master wood carver and sculpture producers.  From Khokana, Bungmati is 15 minutes walk. In these village visitors can see typical Newari houses. The best time to visit Bungmati and Khokana is in October and November because at that time the whole village looks beautiful and that view visitors enjoy must. After exploring Bungmati and Khokana we drive to city of Bhakatapur.
 

Bhaktapur is a popular day-trip destination for the tourists.Bhaktapur main square, Durbar square, palace with the 55- windows constructed by King jitamitra Malla are the main attraction of the area. The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal.
 

After exploring the city of Bhaktapur we drive to Nagarkot.  Nagarkot is located at 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district. It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati river valley to the east. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Valley and known as a place of beauty. O/N Nagarkot.


Day 04:

Drive to panauti, Namo Buddha and Overnight at Dhulikhel

Today in the morning time,visitors can have the spectacular sunrise view of the Himalayan of eastern Nepal.Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.After breakfast we depart from Nagarkot and drive to panauti.
 

Panauti is a small town located 32 km southeast of Kathmandu. Panauti consists of variety of Buddhist and Hindu religious monuments and one of the most important areas for medieval sites. Panauti is quaint and interesting destination of Nepal and also steeped in culture and tradition. Visitors often find colorful stones, petals and other items that are laid out on the pavement to welcome everyone with great hospitality. After exploring panuti we move towards Namo Buddha.
 

Namo Buddha is a very sacred place for the Buddhists. There are couple of monasteries and one ancient stupa erected nearby in which a person can make offerings, pray and light butter lamps. This sight of Namo Buddha gives beautiful views of the local villages and lush scenery to the visitors. After sightseeing tour around Namo Buddha drive back from Namo Buddha to Dhulikhel.
 

Dhulikhel is a Tourist paradise, the spectacular snow fed mountains seen from Dhulikhel must be one of the finest panoramic views in the world, when a blue haze covers the lower portion of the mountains, and they seem to be floating in the air. With the snowy mountains on the backdrop, Dhulikhel are a stage of immense beauty and a paradise for nature lovers. Green inviting hills of which still virgin and some turned into beautifully carved agricultural terraces cater to the beholders' pleasure.O/N Dhulikhel.


Day 05:

Drive to kritipur, Explore Chovar and Daksinkali Temple

After having breakfast we will Drive to Kirtipur. Originally Kirtipur is a centre of Newari culture and Newari foundation. It consists of many temples, Gumbas and Churches too.
 

We move towards visiting Daksinkali. Daksinkali is the most important venue of animal sacrifices to the goddess Kali and Danksinkali temple is located at the foothills of south of the valley. En-route we will also visit Pharping Monastery, Chovar Gorge & Toudaha. After exploring we drive back to Kathmandu. O/N  Kathmandu.


Day 06:

Departure day from Kathmandu.

Free morning, after breakfast, if you having enough time, you may explore mian down town of kathmandu thamel, shopping paradise. Ontime transfer to airport and our trip ends here.

Important Trip Notes & Activities

Pleased acknowledge that you are joining us for the adventure and sightseeing tour in Nepal, tour arranged by A.A will be easy trip but also sometimes weather conditions, health and fitness of the member or unexpected natural disaster can compel us to change the itinerary and if so, you have to understand it but we would try our best to keep the suggested itinerary as per the original schedule.

Your safety and satisfaction of the trip is our prime concern while travelling with us and we ensure you our best team, logistics, professional services to make sure that you would have an amazing trip of lifetime with us. Also note that our trip leader deserved the final decision if the trip has to amend, change the route or cancel due to the extreme conditions for the safety precaution. However, he will try his best to ensure that the trip runs as according to the stated plan but be prepared for flexibility if necessary.

Nepal and Nepali people
Nepal has modern banking facilities and some international banks even have offices in Kathmandu. Almost all foreign currencies along with credit cards such as American Express, Visa, and Master card are accepted in Nepal.

Nepali believes that “guests are God” so no need to worry about the safety matter. Although you will be careful about it and always consult your guide. However, you are under our care on any trips you would be joining us so do not have to worry.

Passport & Visa Information
Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US cash & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.

Nationals of SAARC countries and China do not need visa when visiting Nepal. As per this rule, Indian nationals do not require visa.

Transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain Nepalese visa from the following border.

• Kakarvitta, Jhapa (Eastern Nepal)

• Birganj, Parsa (Central Nepal)

• Kodari, Sindhupalchowk (Northern Border)

Group Size
In our trip, the minimum group size would be two and maximum group size is twenty or more on request. We can also organize private trip to solo person with single supplement cost. Else, join our estimated group departure dates available online or ask us with your personal dates, we will open group date on the same date.

Our Guides, trip and safety
Despite the fact that you are with Advanced Adventures P. Ltd, it is very essential that you are accompanied with very experienced and qualified tour guide for the safety and successful of the trip. Our guides are trained and licensed from Nepal Government and fluent in any language as per your need. Our guides are especially for the tour so that they have very good knowledge about the historical places with its entire history and many more. We assure you that your trip is at the right and professional hands.

Meals, Accommodation and Transportation
While in Kathmandu and any other tour, we use 3 star standard or similar categories hotel on our trips. They are will all the modern facilities, rooms are with attached bath, 24 hours hot/cold water running, back up light if case of no electricity as it is usual at dry season, free WI-FI and internet access.. Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200.

In city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in Safari tour (Either in Chitwan National park or Bardia National park) full board of meals are included (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner with Tea and Coffee). We will offer fresh and hygienic food so that you do not have to worry.

On our every tour, we use deluxe private transport so it is very comfort and convenient as per the tourist requirements. And depending on the group size, car (3 seated), Toyota Van (6 seated and 12 seated), Coaster Bus (22 seated) would be used. Depending on the tour you choose, you might have to use tourist bus for long distance drive which is comfortable and the best tourist vehicles available in Nepal.

(Upgrade hotel to 4 stars or 5 stars is possible in Kathmandu, please write us if you interested)

Tour Best Seasons
We do have two different best seasons for the mentioned tour which are the best season as we call here in Nepal but we run the tour trip throughout the year.

Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time of the year, best visibility, good Temperature.

Autumn:- (Mid September, October and November) - Excellent weather, crystal clear blue skies, best visibility.

Winter Months: - (December, January and February) - Winter also well, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this accordingly.

Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid June, July and August). We can still run the trip but not the best to be honest.

Travel Insurance and Vaccination
Travel insurance is compulsory. You are required to purchase comprehensive travel insurance before travelling with us. Please make sure that you know exactly what you are covered for. Make sure that your travel insurance covers trip cancellation insurance, general medical expenses, and hospitalizations.

Vaccination is required to plan to your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information of vaccination you would require to the country you will be travelling. Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for travel Nepal.
