Day 15:

Day 01:

Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan intl. airport our representative welcomes you and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, we meet and brief your upcoming trek with us and at this evening we will take you little walk around of main down town of Kathmandu.Over night stay at Kathmandu.


Day 02:

Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft) & trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft), 3-4 hrs walk
Today, we drive to airport by early morning for taking a trans Himalayan flight to Lukla which is appox of 40 minutes flight. While stopping for tea- coffee at Lukla, guide will sort out and arrange your baggage among on porters and then your hike to Everest base camp starts. Our walk of this day is relatively easy. We will trek down to Chaurikharka village and continue walking through forest, cultivated lands, farm terrace, passing through lots of interesting local villages en route with few suspension bridges to reach Phakding . Explore this Sherpa village and its surroundings and over night stay at  tea house. 


Day 03:

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Our walk of today crosses Dudhkoshi River over a long suspension bridge, walking through beautiful pine forest and then leads you along the river to Hilary's Suspension Bridge from where your hike up starts. We have a big hill to climb up after this to reach Namche. You will have the first view of the Mt Everest while reaching half walk on this hill. After wards; trail further climbs to Namche Bazaar which is the gate way to Mt. Everest and is the main trading centre of this Khumbu region. Overnight at Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,284ft).


Day 04:

Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar
We will spend a day in Namche Bazaar resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatized to the altitude of (3,440m/11,283ft). You have full day leisure or visit Everest View Point hotel for wonderful panoramic view or stroll around the market, if Saturday can be seen many people in Saturday market for shopping to fulfill their daily needs and only one shopping market in the surrounding areas. Also you can visit Sherpa Museum as well, a great place to learn Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering and stroll back to hotel for overnight.


Day 05:

Namche to Tyangboche (3,867m/12684ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Today after breakfast we start our trek with pleasant walk through the forest with magnificent view of mountains. The great view of the mighty peaks of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde peak with view of the eastern snow capped mountains. The trail leads up hill through the forested path and the hardly walk to get to Tyangboche. One of the most beautiful place in the Himalaya and the first thing that comes to your eye is the big Monastery, then the large field with campsites and teahouses, lodges beneath the towering majestic beautiful peak Ama Dablam.


Day 06:

Tyangboche to Dingboche , 5-6 hrs walk
The trail descends down from Tengboche, winding through the rhododendron forest to Deboche and crossing a bridge over the raging Imja Khol River. Hug the valley wall, and then traverse the plains to Dingboche, the start of the Imja Tse Valley. Over night at Dingboche.


Day 07:

Acclimatization day at Dingboche
On this day you will rest before the last leg of the journey. You may have full day rest or there are some places where you can go for a day walk like trek to Chhukung (4,730m) is worth while which takes approx. 3-4 hours from Dingboche, towards east with in the Imjatse Valley, although the trek is gradual, however you can feel the thin air as the altitude gains slowly coming towards Chhukung. At Chhukung, there are few teahouses overlooking superb view of the snow capped peaks and glaciers after enjoy stroll back to Dingboche for overnight.


Day 08:

Dingboche to Lobuche (4,928m/16164 ft), 5-6 hrs walk
Tackle the steep incline to the terminal moraine of the Khumbu glacier, continuing along the rugged route to your resort at Loboje. Above the huts looms the famous Lhotse Ridge.


Day 09:

Trek to Gorakshep (5,160m/16,929ft) & hike to Kalapatthar (5,550m/18,204ft), 5-6 hrs walk 
After breakfast we continue our trek in a windy and rocky path with the wonderful view of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Nuptse and other magnificent peaks. After check in the hotel at Gorekshep we continue climb to the top of Kalapatthar (the famous view point). This small peak offers the best views of Mt. Everest, Pumori and Ama Dablam you can get without climbing. Stroll back to Gorekshep for overnight.


Day 10:

Hike to Everest base camp (5,316m/17,437ft) & trek back to Pheriche 6-7 hrs walk
After breakfast our adventure continues towards Everest Base Camp and to the Khumbu Ice-fall. The trail passes through over rocky dunes and moraine and streams, till you reach the base camp. In Everest Base Camp the climbers gather for summiting Everest during the high expedition season. We are continuing the trek for return back to Gorakshep and continuous back to Pheriche for overnight.


Day 11:

Pheriche to Tyangboche (3,500m/11,480ft), 5-6 hrs walk 
Heading down now, the going is easier and the pace faster. Take back great memories with you and walk down hill towards the Phungithanka vis Tangboche and after crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi river trek onwards to the Kyanjuma the junction of the trinity ways to Gokyo Valley, Khumjung village and Namche Bazzar. Great view of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tawache and Lhotse as well as dense wildlife of some species of Pheasants, Himalayan Griffons, Musk deer and wild goat can be found insides the rhododendron forest, evening explore small surrounding area with magnificent scenery.


Day 12:

Tyangboche to Namche (6 to 7 hrs walk) - 3,440m/11,284ft  
Our trail descent all the way down to riverside and cross suspension bridge and take a walk up towards a big hill for two hours and will have a nice pleasant walk till to Namche. This is same trail as we trekked before. Over night at Namche.


Day 13:

Trek back to Lukla (6 to 7 hrs walk) -2,800m/9,184ft  
After breakfast, we hike down a trail steeply descends to the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then continues on an easy walk all thew way back to Lukla. Refreshed up; your guide will re-confirm your flight of next day morning. You will have time to stroll around. Evening enjoy the last celebration dinner with your trek crew member and overnight at Hotel.


Day 14:

Fly back to Kathmandu.
After an early morning flight to Kathmandu our guide transfer you to your hotel. You may have time to relax after long journey and take back your breath and rest at your hotel with ending your Himalayan trip with us.


Day 15:

Departure from Kathmandu
Today after breakfast, we will give you departure car back to airport/bus Park for taking your final flight back home or commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. End of our trip.

Important Trip Notes & Activities
Pleased acknowledge that you are joining us for the adventure trip in remote Himalayan region, where weather conditions, health and fitness of the member or unexpected natural disaster can compel us to change the itinerary and if so you have to understand it but we would try our best to keep the suggested itinerary as per the original schedule.

Your safety and satisfaction of the trip is our prime concern while travelling with us and we ensure you our best team, logistics, professional services to make sure that you would have an amazing trip of lifetime with us. Also note that our trip leader deserved the final decision if the trip has to amend, change the route or cancel due to the extreme conditions for the safety precaution. However, he will try his best to ensure that the trip runs as according to the stated plan but be prepared for flexibility if necessary.

Experience and fitness required.
. This trip is not a difficult. No previous trekking experienced is required but if you have, it is a great plus point. This trek is a non technical walk. The highest height you would reach on this trip is 5545m from sea level. The walk involves a lots of ups and downs, takes you through local villages, farming lands, terraces, and river side but as long as you have strength of walking for 4 to 6 hours a day, you are qualified for the trek however you should be having a moderate health and fitness.

We strongly suggest travelers to consult with your medical doctor before travelling and do the regular check up of your health and report us while booking a trip with us.

A part of the health and fitness, participant must be having a positive attitude and strong determination for the successful trip.

Passport & Visa Information
Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US cash & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.

Nationals of SAARC countries and China do not need visa when visiting Nepal. As per this rule, Indian nationals do not require visa.

Transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain Nepalese visa from the following border.

Group Size:
In this Everest Base Camp Trek, the minimum group size would be two and maximum group size is ten or more on request. We can also organize private trip to solo person with single supplement cost. Else, join our estimated group departure dates available online or ask us with your personal dates, we will open group date on the same date.

Our Guides, trip and safety
Because these hikes take you on the remote Himalayan region, it is very essential that you are accompanied with the very experienced and qualified & equipped leader for the safe and successful trip. We Advanced Adventure employee the local trek guide and stuff who are trained and qualified on the trip we worked on. Our guides are trained and licensed from Nepal Gov, certify from TAAN & Nepal Mountaineering Association. All of our leading Trekking and Climbing Guide are experience from last 8 to 10 years. We have train them specially for your trip, to cater the flexible needs of our peoples in the group joining from different countries, this double assure you that your trip is at the right and professional hands.

At every trip, there would be our one Trek leader and one assistance leader on each additional 2 peoples on the trek- this arrangement would ensure that even if any of our guide/ assistance guides get sick or if any travelers gets sick and need to be back or delay the days of walking, it would still works smoothly and there would not be any impact on our original trek plan. Also each two trekker would have one Sherpa helper for carrying your trekking bags.

Meals and Accommodations:
While in Kathmandu, your accommodation is at standard hotels ( Attached Bath, A/C, 24 hours running hot/cold shower) similar of 2 to 3 star standard hotel and while in trek, your accommodation is at Mt. Lodge and local tea houses, they are clean and comfortable. Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200.

This trek is on minimum package basis thus we are not providing you food on the trek.

In city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in trek, no foods in inclusive. Thus, you are supposed to look after your meals during the trek by yourself. The estimated cost of the food is US$- 20 to 30 per day

You can find different choice of the foods while on trek. You can have Nepalese foods (Dal Bhat), Tibetan fried bread, various soups, Momo’s (steamed dumplings), potatoes, pastas and even a version of pizza! So, over all you have a different choice of food on trek.

(Upgrade hotel to 4 stars or 5 stars is possible in Kathmandu, please write us if you interested)

Trekking Seasons:
We do have two best seasons to attempt this trek to Everest Base Camp. As this trip is a big trip to you, we always suggest you to come at the right time of the year as far as possible.

Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time to trek. Rhododendron flowers in bloom- excellent trails and clear skies, best visibility. Good Temperature, warmest weather of the year.

Autumn:- (Mid September, October and November) - Excellent trails, clear blue skies, best visibility. Best Time to Trek

Winter Months: - (December, January and February) are also good, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this. It is up to you to plan this trek at this cold time or not.

Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid June, July and August). We do not suggest you this time for the trek.

Vaccination:
Vaccination is required to plan to your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information of vaccination you would require to the country you will be travelling.

Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for travel Nepal.

Caring Porter:
Our porter are fully equipped and insured for each trip they are undertaking with us. As you know that we are very sincere with the porter issues and their situation while on trek thus we make sure that our porter are fully prepared for the trip. We are closely working with International Porter Progress Association for the welfare and befit for the touristic porters.

The maximum load carried by our porter is 20 to 25 KG maximum so be sure that your trekking bag so not load more than 12 KG.

Communication facilities on this Trek:
These days, there are enough communication facilities on this trek, most of the local villages has local telephone booth phone thus if required, you can easily communicate with your friends and family however the cost is slightly expensive, 2 to 3 dlr per minute. Nowadays, during the clear days, reception of Nepalese cell phones is on throughout the trail, your guide will have Cell phone on the trip.
