If you have, the extreme ability to walk around5-7 hours a day with a light rucksack and passionate feeling, this trek will be highly suitable as this is moderate trek. It is fact that having walk in higher altitudes is definitely more physically demanding than walking in lower altitudes. Therefore, you need to be prepared to adjust in the high altitude. Advance Adventure Kindly request to all the clients to prepare themselves for the Annapurna Panorama Trek   -10 Days by jogging and exercising regularly at least 3 month prior to the start of the trek. If you have the subtle experiences on walking /trekking in high altitude environment this trek will be really easier. Your Past hiking experiences may be worthy but you need special technical skill for this trek. To accomplish the trek you should have excellent health with average physical fitness, positive attitude, self-confidence and strong determination. Day 01:

Arrival day in Kathmandu

Altitude: 1400m

On arrival to Kathmandu; we will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the traveler’s recommended Hotel Blue horizon or similar standard hotel. Later we meet and take you to our head office, brief you on the upcoming Everest Base camp Trek with us and introduce your trekking guide to Everest Base Camp. Evening, we host welcome dinner at one of the finest local restaurant in Kathmandu with music and ethnic dance. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.

Day 02:

Half day guided city tours of Kathmandu

Altitude: 1400m

With easy morning and breakfast, today we will start the half day tour of Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu Valley is probably one of the most interesting cultural valleys with superb blend of Hinduism and Buddhism and mega edifices dedicated to deities of these religions. Moreover, the historic courtyards and palaces inside Kathmandu are artistically fascinating, which date back to ancient and medeival eras.

Firstly we will visit to the pilgrimage sites of Hindus- Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important shrine of Shiva temples on the subcontinent which is an abode of thousand of devotees, Saddhus (holy men/Baba). The sights of cremating deads most of the times in the holy riverbank of Bagmati is offbeat cultural experience. From Pashupatinath we drive to nearby Buddhanath, the biggest Buddhist monastery in Asia-  This Stupa is one of the holy Stupas for the entire Nepalese. You can circumambulate around this mega shrine clockwise to witness authentic Tibetan culture scattered everywhere at Boudhanath.
 

Next, we visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square which is old Royal palace of Kathmandu where we can see lot of  temples built in different eras by different kings. The home to Kumari (Living goddess) manifests extremely fascinating architecture and walk in a freak street nearby reminds of Hippy era in Kathmandu.

Day 03:

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Altitude: 820m/2510 ft

Today, we drive to Pokhara. In the morning by 7, we will drive you to Tourist Bus Stand. Board a tourist coach, which is pretty comfortable ride for the highway journeys in Nepal. 200km of stretch on Prithivi Highway from Kathmandu takes you to Pokhara. Enjoy the landscapes dominated by lush hills, Himalayan Rivers and rural habitats throughout the ride on this serpentine highway . Explore remaining time in the vibrant touristic zone of Pokhara- the Lakeside.

Day 04:

Drive to Nayapul 1 hr drive & trek to Tikhedhunga 3-4 hrs trek

Altitude: 1,577m

Today, we take a short drive  along  the narrow and snakelike mountainous highway that caters the views of green hills and rural life. An hour long drive brings us to Nayapul. We start our trekking adventure in the Annapurna region here. 

As the soft easy trekking adventure in the foothills of Annapurna begins, first we walk through the warm sub tropical forested following Modi River to Birethanti. At Birethanti, where  Modi and Bhurungdi Rivers confluence we need to produce our TIMS and ACAP Permit. Then we trek to Bhurungdi Khola savoring the incredible scenery of waterfall, high green forest and follow the leveled trail for almost 2-3 hours and arrive at  Tikhedhunga village for overnight stay. The village lies just below the sheer vertical hill of Ulleri, which we would traverse through tomorrow. O/N at Ulleri

Day 05:

Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani 5-6 hrs trek

Altitude: 2,850m

Morning we prepare for the long uphill walk. As the trek begins today, we cross the suspension bridge over Burungdi Khola and gradually climb over the steep hill on the stony steps. This part of Annapurna Panorama Trek tests trekkers endurance. Continous uphill climb for couple of hours on a sheer vertical hill through forested region brings us to the village of same name- Ulleri. Beyond Ulleri ,the trail to Ghorepani traverses along the gradual uphill and downhill climbs most of the times winds through the cool shade of forest and gushing streams. We  walk in the midst of the giant rhododendron forest cross pass small villages with few teahouses like Banthati and finally reach toGhorepani for overnight stay. Ghorepani Deurali is a busy spot atop a ridge in the midst of the beautiful rhododendron forest, offering fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. Overnight at Ghorepani.

Day 06:

Morning,  Hike to Poon Hill 3200m, Trek to Tadapani 6-7 hrs trek

Altitude: 2,710m

Before the dawn we start our hike up to Poon Hill, one of the panoramic view points of Annapurna Region.  En-route to Poonhill we could hundreds of trekkers swarping up to this hilltop. On reaching the top of the hill, named after an ethnical treibe of Nepal, the Puns, we get the biggest reward of Annapurna Panorama Trek. Behold the magnificence of Himalayas- the wide range of panoramic scenery from the far western Himalaya of Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchre (Fish Tail) and all the way to Manasalu Himalayan range.  When the first sunlight of the day fall on these soaring Himalayan peaks the views are even more tempting. Enjoy an hour or so at the top and descend down to Ghorepani for the breakfast. Post breakfast the trek to onward destination resumes. We walk through the pleasant rhododendron forest downhill for a while and then slide up for almost ten minutes to Deurali Pass. Savor the vbest view of Annapurna South and Dhaulagiri from here and continue downhill to Deurali. Almost 5 hours of scenic walk up and down from Ghorepani brings us to Tadapani.  O/N at Tadapani

Day 07:

Tadapani to Ghandruk 3-4 hrs trek

Altitude: 1,990m

From the breakfast table in Tadapani, enjoy the sunrise view at Mt. Annapurna south, Himchuli & Fishtail. These three mountains are very close from Tadapani thus you would have the most amazing sunrise view of these mountains from Tadapani.

After the breakfast, the Annapurna Panorama Trek resumes. Today the trek throughout winds downhill through the dense forest of  rhododendron. 3-4 hours of trek from Tadapani brings us to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is one of the biggest Gurung villages of Annapurna Region. It is an impressive Gurung village. Explore remaining time to around the village to see typical Gurung culture, visit the Gurung museum and hike aorund the hills nearby Ghandruk. O/N in Ghandruk

Day 08:

Trek Ghandruk to Nayapul 5 hrs of trek & drive back to Pokhara

Altitude: 823m/2,700ft

Descend down all the way to Khimche on the long series of stony steps. While descending down witness the different view of Mt. Fishtail. Beyond Kimche the walk is pleasant most of the way following the River side till we reach to Birethanthi. From Birethanti, we trek on the retracing trail to Nayapul. We will be picked up by a private vehicle at Nayapul and we drive back to our hotel Pokhara.  Explore the streets of Pokhara in the evening, release all your trek exhaustion and enjoy. ON/ in Pokhara

Day 09:

Pokhara- Kathmandu; Evening farewell dinner 7-8 hrs drive

Altitude: 1400m

After the breakfast, we drive to back to Kathmandu in a tourist coach. On arriving Kathmandu we transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Refreshed up; evening we meet again, take a feedback of your trip. We host a farewell Dinner at one of the finest Nepalese restaurants. Over night at Kathmandu.

Day 10:

Departure from Kathmandu

Breakfast

Today you will depart Kathmandu. Breakfast at Kathmandu hotel, then you are free for shopping at the Kathmandu. When the time to depart back comes, we will transfer you to the airport. Have a safe flight and visit Nepal time and again.

Experience and fitness required.
This trip is not a difficult. No previous trekking experienced is required but if you have, it is a great plus point. This trek is a non technical walk. The highest height you would reach on this trip is 3800m from sea level. The walk involves a lots of ups and downs, takes you through local villages, farming lands, terraces, and river side but as long as you have strength of walking for 4 to 6 hours a day, you are qualified for the trek however you should be having a moderate health and fitness. 

We strongly suggest travelers to consult with your medical doctor before travelling and do the regular check up of your health and report us while booking a trip with us. 

A part of the health and fitness, participant must be having a positive attitude and strong determination for the successful trip. 

Passport & Visa Information
Nepal visa is the easiest visa to obtain; you may buy your Nepal visa at your nearest Nepalese Embassy/ Consulate or Mission offices abroad or buy this upon on arrival to Kathmandu international airport as per your convenient. You have to have 2 passport size photographs, Visa fees in US cash & valid passport at least for 6 months valid at the starting of the trip.

Nationals of SAARC countries and China do not need visa when visiting Nepal. As per this rule, Indian nationals do not require visa. 

Transit visa is provided for foreign nationality for 3 days. Visa must be obtained for staying over the initial period of three days. Currently, foreign national can obtain Nepalese visa from the following border.

Group Size:
In this Annapurna Base Camp Trek, the minimum group size would be two and maximum group size is ten or more on request. We can also organize private trip to solo person with single supplement cost. Else, join our estimated group departure dates available online or ask us with your personal dates, we will open group date on the same date. 

Our Guides, trip and safety
Because these hikes take you on the remote Himalayan region, it is very essential that you are accompanied with the very experienced and qualified & equipped leader for the safe and successful trip. We Advanced Adventure employee the local trek guide and stuff who are trained and qualified on the trip we worked on. Our guides are trained and licensed from Nepal Gov, certify from TAAN & Nepal Mountaineering Association. All of our leading Trekking and Climbing Guide are experience from last 8 to 10 years. We have train them specially for your trip, to cater the flexible needs of our peoples in the group joining from different countries, this double assure you that your trip is at the right and professional hands.

At every trip, there would be our one Trek leader and one assistance leader on each additional 2 peoples on the trek- this arrangement would ensure that even if any of our guide/ assistance guides get sick or if any travelers gets sick and need to be back or delay the days of walking, it would still works smoothly and there would not be any impact on our original trek plan. Also each two trekker would have one Sherpa helper for carrying your trekking bags. 

Meals and Accommodations:
While in Kathmandu and in Pokhara, your accommodation is at standard hotels ( Attached Bath, A/C, 24 hours running hot/cold shower) similar of 2 to 3 star standard hotel and while in trek, your accommodation is at Mt. Lodge and local tea houses, they are clean and comfortable. Our entire accommodation is at twin share unless stated but single supplement accommodation is also available on personal request at the additional cost of US$- 200. 

In city, only breakfast is included on the offered trip itinerary but while in trek full board of meals is included (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, and Tea- Coffee). We provide you food from the local tea- house/ Mt. Lodge from en route. Breakfast and dinner is to be provided from the same tea- house/ guest house we would overnight but lunch would be en route in between. 

Foods provided are depends on the availability of the Mt. lodges we would be staying but in general, you can have Nepalese foods (Dal Bhat), Tibetan fried bread, various soups, Momo’s (steamed dumplings), potatoes, pastas and even a version of pizza! So, over all you have a different choice of food on trek.

(Upgrade hotel to 4 stars or 5 stars is possible in Kathmandu, please write us if you interested) 

Trekking Seasons:
We do have two best seasons to attempt this trek to Annapurna Base Camp. As this trip is a big trip to you, we always suggest you to come at the right time of the year as far as possible. 

Spring: - (March, April, May) - Best warmest time to trek. Rhododendron flowers in bloom- excellent trails and clear skies, best visibility. Good Temperature, warmest weather of the year.

Autumn:- (Mid September, October and November) - Excellent trails, clear blue skies, best visibility. Best Time to Trek

Winter Months: - (December, January and February) are also good, but it’s obviously colder. You have to be prepared for this. It is up to you to plan this trek at this cold time or not. 

Summer: - Monsoon, so rain and visibility can be a big issue (from Mid June, July and August). We do not suggest you this time for the trek.

Vaccination:
Vaccination is required to plan to your trip to Nepal but it is not a must to have thing to come, but highly suggested. Your doctor will have the information of vaccination you would require to the country you will be travelling. 

Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Malaria etc. are the recommended vaccination for travel Nepal. 

Caring Porter:
Our porter are fully equipped and insured for each trip they are undertaking with us. As you know that we are very sincere with the porter issues and their situation while on trek thus we make sure that our porter are fully prepared for the trip. We are closely working with International Porter Progress Association for the welfare and befit for the touristic porters. 

The maximum load carried by our porter is 20 to 25 KG maximum so be sure that your trekking bag so not load more than 12 KG.

Communication facilities on this Trek:
These days, there are enough communication facilities on this trek, most of the local villages has local telephone booth phone thus if required, you can easily communicate with your friends and family however the cost is slightly expensive, 2 to 3 dlr per minute. Nowadays, during the clear days, reception of Nepalese cell phones is on throughout the trail, your guide will have Cell phone on the trip.

Once you would choose which trip you would like to book with us, write us with the information or phone us on our phone number for the trip booking confirmation. We have online trip booking option, you may go on that link, choose your trip and date and follow the instruction with information required and summit us.

Once your trip booking request would be received, we would suggest you the final trip booking procedure with advance payment of the trip. Non-refundable deposit of 20% (per person) is required to confirm a place on your selected adventure.

It is very important to have right seasonal Clothing & Equipments for the safe and enjoyable trek in Nepal. Here below, we have listed the required equipments for traveling to Nepal and its Himalayas. Please remember that you should always try to keep the weight of your equipment to a minimum.
