Lhasa is the spiritual and political capital of Tibet. Lhasa means in Tibetan “The land of gods". Tashilhunpo Monastery is its major historic attraction. Mt. Kailash, the near-legendary mountain in western Tibet is holy to both Hindus and Buddhist.
