Climbing Island Peak

We climber with Adv Adventure to Island Peak in October 2014 and was a succesful climb with 4 of us submitting with the 3 Sherpa. It was a life time experience as this is higher than what we have achieve in EBC. And beside, it is more technical climb using crampons, jumar and figure of 8.
We have some training by the Sherpa at Chungkung and it was really a revelation to learn about safety in real mountaineering.
We were really taken care of espeacially in the aspect of safety as using a thick LA Sportiva Nepal Evo n walking on ice on crampons are really not as simple as trekking.
We are grateful to AA for being so hospitable and boiterous in taking care of us. Special mention to Chet, Dill the chief trekking guide and Pemba Sherpa on the mountain.
Last but not least the food at Base Camp and Advance Camp was simply appetising and the TNF tent keep us warm and comfy.
So with AA with have tick off another six thousand in our dream of going higher another day.

Climb On!!!

Life changing experience

It was an incredible journey ! My partner and I had the best time .I would recommend Advanced Adventures all the way, Mr Chet Bhatta was awesome in everything , he was onto our Emails within minutes each time we had a question before hand , incredibly helpful and made everything easy . Our guide Iswor was fluent in English and made our trek to EBC ! He was extreamly motivated and he’s exactly who you need , and he had such caring nature . And not to mention our porter Sujan , such a happy person and very polite . We fell in love with Nepal the people the mountains and we will be back to tick some more off our bucket list . Endless adventure there ! It was our first trip to Nepal and our first trek as well but we had no issues at all . The care factor with these guys was imaculate , and that’s what you want . Yes , it was hard but that’s why your there , to achieve that goal you want so bad and push yourself to the limit , one foot Infront of the other , and when you’ve done it the feeling you can’t explain . We will be back to climb some mountains for sure ! Thank you so much Namaste all the way from Perth 🙂 love Tracy and Eugene

AA Provided a Fantastic Trek to EBC!

My brother-in-law and I booked a 14 day EBC Trek last year and had the best time! From start to finish Chet and the team at Advanced Adventures took care of everything. The Trek was amazing, the weather was perfect and our guide was not only very knowledgeable about the mountains and towns that we visitied, but also a lot of fun.

AA simply awesome

I wasn’t sure of how this would all turn out to be as it was my first time out in Nepal. AA, did a great job of winning me over as a client for life. Everything was done as they said it would and everyone from my guide and sherpa to the main contact who is in charge of all were amazing to work with. Highly recommended this.

wonderful experience, stress-free and flexible

My experience with Advanced Adventures was wonderful! Iand had a blast in Nepal with AA. Everything that I needed was taken care of: my transportation to/from the hotel, my trekking permit, my hotel in kathmandu, as well as everything on the trek. The actual trekking portion of the package was exceptional. My Nepali guide organised everything for me. He made sure I was healthy (e.g. ensuring I was adjusting properly to the altitude, describing what to eat and what not to eat and why). When I decided I wanted to change the itenerary to give me more time near base camp, my guide supported me and kept a close eye on my physical condition. Because of his help and willingness to be flexible, I managed to get a beautiful view of Everest despite travelling in the monsoon season. When my flight back to kathmandu was cancelled due to rain, my guide even walked with me for three more days to the nearest road to take a jeep back.

If you are looking for a stress-free, safe and flexible trekking/climbing experience then Advanced Adventures is the company for you.

General information to keep in mind:
– Be ready to tip your guide and porter; it is customary in Nepal. This addition snuck up on me, but by the time the trek was over, I was more than happy to reward my guide and porter. This extra bonus helps them out tremendously
– Be prepared for any weather scenario as it relates to your schedule. The flights in and out of Lukla may be delayed and can add anywhere from 2-8 days to your journey. Give yourself a large time buffer. If everything runs as planned you will have extra time to explore Kathmandu valley and Pokhara.

Thank you Advanced Adventures! I will be back soon!
